Mount Batur

Bali offers both relaxation as well as great adventures. One adventure that must be embarked on when visiting this island, is seeing the volcano Mount Batur. This location offers a bounteous amount of beauty. Enjoy a suntrek across it, and soak in a breathtaking sunset like no other while conquering the mountain at the same time. This is known as a sacred mountain to those of the Hindu religion, and it certainly does give a feeling that is out of this world when you’re there.

Suluban  Beach

Uluwatu of Bali is a location that offers great beach experiences and is the number four surf destination in the world. Suluban beach is one that definitely evokes feelings of ecstasy: beautifully clear water, a short cliff walk to reach the shores, and then you quite quickly feel one with nature. It’s an enchanting experience: enclosed in narrow caves, lurking down log ramps and traipsing through narrow gaps in the rock, this beach is a great adventure, and with natural limestone formations surrounding it, you could also capture some monumental images. Get your surf’s up and ride the 3 to 12 feet waves that crash against the shores.

Tirta Empul

Located in the town of Tampaksiring, Bali, this Hindu Balinese water temple is a must see. With Hindu being the main religion of this island, there are many temples dotted around that hold much substance and value to the locals. It’s the setting for a traditional tale of good versus evil and the temple consists of a bubbling water source that flows into the purification baths, pools and fish pond that surround it. Observe those of the hindu religion carrying out their daily rituals as they bath in these sacred waters, and purify themselves. Rent a sarong, and join in this holy activity, and gain a hands on sense of the devotion of these individuals.

Bali Safari and Marine Park

Something that’s a great attraction located in Gianyar, Bali, is the Bali Safari and Marine Park. This open zoo boast of a range of animals from different continents. More than 50 species roam the large woodland area and reflect both the Balinese and African culture. From komodo dragons to koala bears, elephants to iguanas, there’s a host of fascinating creatures to see.  Get up close and personal with the animals on a safari ride that allows you to view the animals close, or an aquarium that makes you feel as though you’re swimming with the sea life themselves. This is one of the leading family attractions in Bali and will offer and magical day out for all ages.
