Brittany Holidays with a Difference

When we think of Brittany, we are quickly swept away by the thoughts of the enticing French countryside, the smell of warm croissants and the regal châteaux that capture the imagination. If you fancy a holiday in this region, but would like to try something a bit different, Brittany camping trips offer the chance to explore the great outdoors in the utmost luxury and style.

Think luxurious lodges or spacious apartments – or if you prefer, you could go for a more traditional camping experience by kicking back and chilling out in a modern mobile home. Brittany camping offers visitors a quick and easy escape to the continent with tons of beautiful beach resorts and rugged coastlines to explore.

Exploring the north of Brittany

 • Domaine des Ormes, Dol-de-Bretagne

This camping park offers a wonderful assortment of activities and accommodation types. Choose between the comfort of a woodland lodge and the luxury of a special maxi tent as you relax and unwind before going to see the ponies at the stables or taking in a few rounds at the golf club.

The park includes three pools and a beautiful fishing lake, surrounded by trees – perfect for those warm and lazy afternoons. Whether you fancy exploring the area on a bike or canoe, or you’d rather relax with some tennis or horse riding, there is something here for adults and children alike.

Appetiser!

• Yelloh! Village le Ranolien, Perros

Yelloh! is the perfect campsite for those who love long, interesting walks with some exploration! The site is located on Brittany’s pink granite coast, with spectacular views of the sea and includes the famous ‘Smugglers Path’ along the coast. The landscaped gardens guarantee beautiful views wherever you go in the campsite, and the tropical pool complex is sure to dazzle both adults and children alike.

If you’ve come to Brittany in search of some famous French cuisine, then you won’t be disappointed here, as the local crêperie offers a fantastic choice of crêpes as well as locally brewed cider – well worth a try!

Exploring the south of Brittany

• Camping de l’Atlantique, Fouesnant

Camping de l’Atlantique is perfect for those who like to make a splash. Its colourful water parks offer huge water chutes for some epic family fun! It’s a great spot for parents too, as the bar and terrace overlooks the pools, so you can relax while keeping an eye on your little ones having the time of their lives.

This is a great spot for young families in June and September as it is much quieter at this time than in high season. If you fancy taking a break from the lively entertainment on site, some exploration will bring you to leafy pine trees and a gorgeous sandy beach – perfect for sun worshippers.

• Camping les Deux Fontaines, Raguenès

A wonderful campsite for small children, this campsite offers a paddling pool within the pool complex, especially for toddlers. If you like a family atmosphere you won’t be disappointed here, as this family-owned campsite offers sporting events, treasure hunts and barbecues on the beach.

The campsite used to serve as an apple orchard, so you are guaranteed beautiful grounds with mature plants and trees – perfect for those who want to get back to nature.
